Ogun APC Goes Digital, Launches Statewide E-Registration to Grow Membership

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has launched a statewide electronic registration and re-registration exercise aimed at expanding its membership base, strengthening internal unity, and preparing the party for future political engagements.
The exercise was officially flagged off on Tuesday by the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who described it as a significant opportunity for party members and supporters to reaffirm their loyalty and deepen their commitment to the APC, which he described as Africa’s largest and most successful political party.

Represented by his Deputy, Engr. (Mrs.) Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the Governor said the e-registration initiative would create an open and transparent platform for new members to join the party, while also ensuring the development of a credible, reliable, and technology-driven membership database.
Governor Abiodun explained that the electronic process would eliminate manipulation and sharp practices associated with manual registration, improve accuracy, and enhance efficient data management in line with global best practices for political party administration.
He called on party leaders, stakeholders, and members at all levels to mobilise massively across the state to ensure widespread participation, stressing that the success of the exercise depends on collective effort and cooperation among party executives and field officers.
Speaking at the event, the APC State Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, described the registration exercise as a unifying process designed to strengthen the party, assuring members that no genuine supporter would be excluded as the APC continues to build a stronger, more inclusive, and forward-looking political family in Ogun State.
If you want, I can also:
Make it shorter for news briefs
Adapt it for radio or TV scripts
Rewrite it in a more celebratory or political tone
