The Ogun State Governor ( 2003--2011) Otunba Gbenga Daniel says he has empowered over three thousand people (3000) ,sponsored eleven (11) bills at the National Assembly.
Daniel said this while giving account of his stewardship in the last one year he became the National Assembly member at Iwe Iroyin Nuj Secretarial Abeokuta Ogun State during a Dialogue with Journalists held on Tuesday
Otunba Gbenga Daniel described the South West Development Commission bill which is at the second reading as one if passed and assented by the President would further boost the economy of the south west to an enviable heights.
Daniel who informed that he was the Chairman of Committee on Navy, Vice chairman of Appropriation Committee and member of other fifteen committees of the Senate, implored youths especially in the South West to enlist into the military services.
The Senator added he specifically reeled out the oommittes so as to enable his constituents and people of Ogun State to utilize the network to their advantages.
Daniel also stated that over 3000 people have benefitted from various empowerment schemes and medical initiatives programmes which included free eyes treatment, provision of glasses, Training and provision of Tractors to farmers, grants and loans to Traders, Market men and women
