FRSC, Security PROs Unite Against Misinformation in Ogun

The Military, Police and Paramilitary Public Relations Officers Forum (MILPOPPROF), Ogun State Chapter, has reaffirmed its commitment to coordinated public communication and stronger inter-agency collaboration following a strategic courtesy visit to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ogun Sector Command in Abeokuta.

The delegation, comprising spokespersons of security and paramilitary agencies in the state, was received by the Sector Commander, Corps Commander Oludare Ogunjobi, alongside the Deputy Corps Commander, Administration and Human Resources, DCC Sheu Moshood.

Speaking during the visit, Ogunjobi described collaboration among Public Relations Officers as vital to strengthening public confidence in security institutions. He stressed that discipline, integrity, consistency and professionalism remain the foundation of effective public service and credible communication.

The FRSC boss urged members of the forum to project the positive image of their respective agencies through accurate, timely and responsible dissemination of information, noting that PROs serve as the public face of their organisations and must uphold their mandates and values.
